Enum OwnedRasterResourceDisposition

What happened to the physical release obligation during an import attempt.

enum OwnedRasterResourceDisposition : ubyte { ... }

This is explicit rather than derived solely from OwnedRasterImportError, because one public error category can abstract internal failures occurring on different sides of the ownership commit point.
